When you use PaisePe, you may provide: full name, mobile number, email address, date of birth, PAN number, Aadhaar number (masked), employment details, income information, address and pincode, loan or insurance preferences.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

We automatically collect: IP address, browser type and version, device type and operating system, pages visited and time spent, referral URLs, cookies and similar tracking technologies.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from credit bureaus (CIBIL, Experian), lending partners and insurance companies, Google (if you sign in via Google OAuth), and government databases for KYC verification.

We use your information to: provide financial product comparisons and recommendations, check your loan and credit card eligibility, verify your identity (KYC), communicate with you about your applications and account, send you relevant financial offers and updates (with your consent), improve our platform, products, and user experience, comply with legal and regulatory obligations under RBI, IRDAI, and SEBI guidelines, detect and prevent fraud or unauthorised access.

3.1 With Lending & Insurance Partners

When you apply for a loan, credit card, or insurance, we share your relevant details with the selected lender or insurer to process your application. These partners have their own privacy policies.

3.2 With Credit Bureaus

We may share or fetch your credit information from CIBIL, Experian, Equifax, or CRIF High Mark as required for eligibility checks.

3.3 With Service Providers

We use third-party services for cloud hosting, analytics, email/SMS communication, and payment processing. These vendors are contractually bound to protect your data.

3.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PaisePe, our users, or others.

3.5 We Do NOT Sell Your Data

PaisePe does not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures including: 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit, AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest, role-based access controls and audit logs, regular security assessments and penetration testing, PAN and Aadhaar masking in our systems. Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your login credentials confidential.

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and preferences, analyse website traffic and usage patterns, personalise your experience, and measure the effectiveness of our marketing. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect some features of the platform. We use Google Analytics and similar tools which may set their own cookies.

Under applicable Indian law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate or incomplete data, withdraw consent for processing where consent is the legal basis, request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations), file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India. PaisePe is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
